Capturing Baby Erin: A Newborn Photography Experience in Bowmanville
In my cozy studio in Bowmanville, newborn baby Erin came to see me for her very first photo session.
At just 8 days old, this sweet baby girl was in the ideal age range for a newborn photoshoot. Babies are often at their sleepiest and most naturally curled between 5 to 14 days, making this period the perfect window for capturing those precious moments.
Relaxing gentle music greet her parents as they enter my Bowmanville studio. The warm environment is carefully curated to ensure the utmost calmness, allowing baby Erin to drift into a contented slumber. This allowed me to delicately pose her, capturing her tiny features and the pure essence of her newborn innocence. Newborns always lead the way, I follow their cues creating a gallery of photos unique to each baby who comes to see me. Erin’s loving parents chose a timeless colour palette of soft whites and delicate pinks, creating a visually soothing atmosphere.
I love when parents take an active roll in their newborn session and I alway work with them when choosing accessories, props and colours to create a session around their preferences. Erin’s mom selected 2 unique props from my collection to use for her baby girl. Floral accents graced the scene, adding a natural and timeless charm to their photographs. They also choose beautiful handcrafted headbands, each carefully selected to complement her delicate features.
During their newborn session, a variety of poses and angles were explored, each uniquely capturing baby Erin’s in exquisite detail. From tiny fingers to peaceful expressions, every shot told a story of new beginnings and endless possibilities.
In every frame, newborn baby Erin’s essence was preserved, and in every image, a memory was immortalized. It's moments like these that remind me of the profound privilege it is to document the earliest chapters of a new life.
